As a Mechanical Engineer Co-op at SharkNinja I worked to support the engineering and product development of the Ninja-Heated products including air fryers, indoor grills, and pressure cookers. The majority of my design work for Ninja focused on designing and iterating on cooking accessories or parts to enhance the user experience and produce cost downs.

These particular designs utilize a circular hole pattern and built-in diffuser fins to facilitate air flow, resulting in crispy, evenly cooked food.

The wire rack can be used to cook a variety of foods and create multiple cooking zones within a pressure cooker pot. This design is a small edit on Ninja’s current offering, simply decreasing the overall height of the rack to protect food from burning.

This part is used in indoor grills to direct air in the unit and prevent users from getting their fingers caught in moving parts. The design is similar to that already in current Ninja indoor grills, but with a few modifications to cut down on materials and manufacturing costs.
